PayFoneMap is a community-driven, free-to-use online platform dedicated to documenting and mapping the remaining payphones across the globe. Our mission is to preserve the history of public telephony while helping individuals locate the nearest operational payphone in their area.
We operate independently and do not generate revenue through advertisements, sponsorships, or corporate endorsements. As a result, PayFoneMap remains a completely non-commercial resource—created by and for the community. Our project is exclusively funded through donations from private individuals, and its funds are used to maintain; the website, operate our servers, manage our mapping data, and ensuring the quality of our solutions are as best as they can be.
