The Randolph Public Telephone Operating Company, or simply RandTel is a grassroots, community-focused initiative dedicated to restoring the public telephone as a vital service in Central Vermont. It is a passion project founded by an electrical engineer named Patrick Schlott to address the critical issue of unreliable or non-existent cellular coverage in rural areas.
